Sign-Up for Freshman Transition Academy!
The mission of the Freshman Transition Academy is to give students an opportunity to become familiar with the expectations and programs utilized at Grasso Tech. Students will learn how to utilize a Chromebook to navigate google classroom. The pre-assessment for the ALEKs math program will be given and students will gain an understanding of how to access the various resources the program provides. The Accelerated Reading program will be explained and students will have an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the MLA model. Team building activities will take place and will be paired with lessons on perseverance, and motivation. Attendance and uniform policies will be discussed along with other policies contained within the Grasso Student Handbook. Students will become familiar with the building and have a chance to meet other students that will be part of the incoming class of 2022.
